My name is Mandi Rix and way back in 2013, I graduated from the University of Victoria with my Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in marketing. During my studies I spent a semester abroad at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland to expand my knowledge regarding international business practices. Since graduating with my degree, I have completed multiple continuing education courses and seminars in Graphic Art & Design.

I am a creative communications specialist who is passionate about all things branding, and this passion has helped me succeed in varied roles from start-up companies to multi-national firms. I discovered my passion for graphic design, branding and original content creation while working at a small Calgary based tech start up. I further honed my skills through part time consulting as a graphic artist, and eventually incorporated my own freelance company, queue Kandi Kreative.

Kandi Kreative actively works with clients to understand their needs to deliver services on-brand and on-time. Kandi Kreative specializes in creating visual content to support corporate marketing and branding strategies. I utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software, to create and edit clean branded graphics for promotional and informational use. I also have promotional experience with developing ads, infographics, and presentations for digital marketing platforms including websites and social media. My print media experience consists of business cards, stationery, posters, invitations, stickers, sandwich board signs, brochures, packaging, labels and booklets.
